This section comprises leisure organisations active within the village, plus some others pursuits enjoyed locally by some residents

The Indoor Bowls Club meets in the Village Hall 8.00 - 10.00pm every Friday from September to May.  (Click for more...)

The Women's Institute organises many activities and events.  Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm in the Village Hall.  Visitors welcome. Tel 301015

Badminton Club plays in the Village Hall, and holds junior coaching sessions on Mon, Tues and Wed evenings. New adult members always welcome, and a few vacancies for juniors.

Rainbows is open to all girls between the ages of 5 and 7 years, subject to spaces.  They follow a varied programme of exciting activities that also prepare them for Brownies. Wed 4.45pm  Tel: 311274

1st Guilden Sutton Cubs is open to boys and girls aged 8 - 10½, and meets every Monday at 6.30pm.  Tel:300845

1st Guilden Sutton Beavers is a new group for boys and girls aged 6 - 8 years, meeting in the Primary School Hall during the school term from 5.15 until 6.15pm.

Cestrian Art Group meets every Wednesday during term time at St John's Church Hall, Church Lane from 11.00am to 6.00pm.  New members warmly welcomed.

Ladies Morning Badminton is held on Tuesdays  between 9.15 until 10.15am in the Village Hall.  Informal atmosphere - children can play while mums have a game.

The Footpaths Group monitors the condition of Guilden Sutton's footpaths, organising and performing maintenance when necessary.  It has a range of equipment and is urgently looking for additional members. Contact 300890

Chester Caledonian Reel Club meets in Eccleston Village Hall, but holds social dances in Guilden Sutton.  A good way to exercise mind, body and social skills.  New members welcome.
