village. It shows you who to contact in Chester City or Cheshire county, if you want to find out or tell them something.
We know that people are accessing this website, because there is a counter which is added to every time anyone uses it. At the present time we know that nearly 200 people have contacted it in the last few weeks. We also know that the lady from Australia (who we mentioned at the start) was glad that she could find out what is happening in the village, because she sent Danny an Email message to say that she used to live in the village and was delighted that she still had this link with us.

So why not have a go and see what you think of the website? The address is shown at the top of this article. Danny would like you to contact him or any of the other Parish Councillors, if you have any suggestions, recommendations or requests for the site. It is a very convenient way of communicating, and one that we need to find out about to try to keep up with our children!

If you need any help, or prefer a more traditional method of communication, our addresses and telephone numbers are shown on the back page of this Marigold.

IN AND AROUND THE VILLAGE HALL

We have been looking to see what minor improvements we can make to the Hall to brighten it up. We hope that the hanging baskets, which we have put up for the last few years, will help to do this.
We have installed an automatic watering system, which waters them throughout the summer, and we hope that the splashes of colour will help to brighten up the Hall. We have also put down weed killer and bark chips on the 2 shrubberies around the Hall to make them look better, and we are always trying to find ways of improving it. This is something that everyone in the village can help with, by keeping an eye on things and doing what they can to help matters, so that we have hundreds of people looking after THEIR Village Hall.

Inside the Hall, we are continuing our painting rota, and this year it is the turn of the Marigold Room to benefit from a new coat of paint.
